16. DISSOLUTION
- Upon dissolution of the Joint District, all assets and property will be sold to the highest bidder at a publicly noticed dispersal.
- Following payment of all ambulance liabilities, proceeds from the sale of ambulance equipment will be divided among the member entities participating in ambulance services at the time of dissolution of the Joint District utilizing the percentage used to calculate the most recent assessment for annual ambulance budgeting purposes.
- Following payment of all fire liabilities, proceeds from the sale of equipment not specifically considered ambulance equipment will be divided among the entities participating in fire services at the time of dissolution of the Joint District utilizing the percentage used to calculate the most recent assessment for annual fire budgeting purposes.
- Following payment of all liabilities, proceeds from the sale of Joint District real estate and improvements will be divided among the seven original member entities of the Joint District using the identical percentage used to calculate each member entities’ share of the building assessment in the promissory notes due on May 15, 2020. Those percentages are as follows:
