The District shall be governed by a Joint Board ofCommissioners (Hereafter “Joint Board”) which shall be theJoint Board of Fire Commissioners within the meaning ofWisconsin Statutes 660301. The Joint Board shall beresponsible for establishing policies pertaining to theoperation of the District and shall control the finances of theDistrict.
The Joint Board shall consist of commissioners with onecommissioner to be appointed by each member municipality,which appointee shall not be a fire fighter or emergencymedical technician employed by the District. Each membermunicipality shall determine its own procedures forappointment of commissioners and may change theappointee at its own discretion upon reasonable notice toother member municipalities and the District.
