Birchwood Four Corners Emergency Services District will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 6:30 PM, BFCESD Building, 280 Edenharter Rd, Birchwood WI.

  3. Scott Spaeth made a motion to approve the December 14, 2023 Meeting Minutes, 2nd by Bob Moulette, Carried 7-0
  4. Public Input-Nothing
  5. Fire Department Report-See attached report
  6. Ambulance Service Report-See attached report
  7. Discuss EMS Billing proposal that were rec’d as of 1/9/2023. Special meeting set for Jan 18, 2024 to vote on proposals rec’d from Ambulance Billing services.
  8. BFCESD Auxiliary Report-See Attached report
  9. Development of Joint Board Google Docs for meeting reports etc. was done and is working good for everyone.
  10. Building Maintenance report-Ken reported that a wash sink in the laundry room will be purchased. Dan Wichser will talk to the Village and see about sanding the parking lot and cost. The present Snow removal contract doesn’t have a sand/salter. Will review this item for next year’s snow removal contract.
  11. Long Term Capital Plan Update-Vince will be getting #’s for the cost of a new Ambulance and time line.
  12. Tabled until Feb Meeting–Discussion on Capital Campaign for new Ambulance: Different avenues to pursue
  13. Discussion on Social Media sites: Gene Marcinski-Face Book (Fire & Amb) Website-Cindy
    Website is being updated have put on the front page in News and Updates the Jon Sleik Golf Tournament information with the registration form as a downloadable form.

  15. Mike Hessling made a motion to approve donations that were received since the last meeting. All funds deposited in Building Fund Acct $500.00 to Building Fund from Paypal, $200.00 to BFCESD for Fire in TOCL, $500.00 to BFCESD for response in to 2023 Fire, 2nd by Dan Wichser, Carried 7-0
  16. Mike Hessling made a motion to approve Bookkeepers report as presented, 2nd byDan Wichser, Carried 7-0 End of 2023 report will be posted on Google Docs.
  17. Scott Spaeth made a motion to approve Bills as presented for payment since Dec14th meeting, MAIN ACCT E-pay’s—249-257 CHECKS-8705-8731
    FAP ACCT Check #8711 for $140.00 to EMS CPR Training Acct 2nd by Bob Moulette, Carried 7-0
  18. Review Correspondence- Request for Tax info from TRUSTPOINT rec’d a $500 check.Rec’d confirmation of Dollar General Tax-exempt program application was submitted and was accepted.
    Mosaic wants us to opt in or out of use of our CPNI to marketing communication services (OPT OUT)
