Birchwood Four Corners Emergency Services District will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 6:30 PM, BFCESD offices at 101 West Loomis Street, Suite B, Birchwood WI.

  3. James Whitehead made a motion to approve June 9, 2022 Meeting Minutes, 2nd by Al Dirkes, carried 6-0 Scott Spaeth abstained
  4. Public Input–None
  5. Update on Audit: Two Rivers Accounting is planning for Aug 11, 2022
  6. Fire Department Report-see attached report
    • Discussion on Hovercraft. Dan Wichser made a motion to accept the donation of the Hovercraft and to spend up to $3500 on updating with new engine, 2nd by James Whitehead, carried 7-0

  7. Ambulance Service Report-see attached report
  8. Update on BFCESD Auxiliary Committee met July 13 to discuss drafting charter and to get it approved by the BFCESD Board. What building fundraising and projects that we can do as an Mike Hessling has drafted up an item to add to the bylaws regarding the auxiliary and will be on agenda in Aug. for approval.
  9. Building/ Fund Raising Committee report-
  • Building–Funding profile will be completed as soon as the bids are complete. Bids are to be in by July 21, they will be opened at NWB with BFCESD Board members, Vince and Ken present on 7/21/2022 @ 2 pm.
  • Fundraising— Discussion/decision on 2nd Annual Jon Sleik Memorial Golf Tournament. Mid to late Sept was discussed. Tagalong offered Sept 24. Butternut has Aug 24 and Sept 4. Item will be added to the Building/Fundraising Committee agenda on July 21 to decide on where and when.

10. Al Dirkes made a motion to approve donations of $12,455.00 that have been received since the        June 9th, 2022 meeting, 2nd by Dan Wichser, carried 7-0

11. James Whitehead made a motion to approve Bookkeepers report as presented, 2nd by Rick         Oswalt, carried 7-0

12. Al Dirkes made a motion to approve E-Pay 135-139 and checks 8148-8171 as presented for      payment (checks #8146-8147 we approved via email on 6/20/2022), 2nd by James Whitehead, carried 7-0

13. Review Correspondence-League of WI Municipal 2021 Work Comp Dividend
