Birchwood Four Corners Emergency Services District will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 6:30 PM, at the BFCESD Building, 280 Edenharter Rd, Birchwood WI.

  3. DeWayne R made a motion to approve the July 10, 2025 Meeting Minutes as presented, 2nd by Don B, Carried 6-0
  4. Public Input-None
  5. Fire Department Report-See Report
  6. Don B made a motion to approve the 2026 Fire Dept Budget as presented, 2nd by DeWayne R, Carried 6-0
  7. Ambulance Service Report-See Report Vince gave his notice of retiring from Ambulance Directors position as of Jan 1, 2026. He has agreed to shadow and give support to whoever gets the position.
  8. Don B made a motion to approve the 2026 Amb Dept Budget as presented, 2nd by DeWayne R, Carried 6-0
  9. Friends of the BFCESD Report
  10. Discuss & Approve Friends of BFCESD 2026 Budget DeWayne R made a motion to approve the 2026 Friends of BFCESD Budget as presented, 2nd by Don B, Carried 6-0
  11. Report from Bylaws Committee-No meeting
  12. Discussion on retaining a Law Firm Coe, Cuskey & Stephens to work with the Bylaw Committee was made. Don B made a motion to approve the appointment with Coe, Cuskey and Stephens on Aug 25th@2 pm@ $300.00 per hour, 2nd by Rick O, Carried 6-0
  13. Building Maintenance report-Ken G, John B, Jeremy H worked on doing some landscaping around the north shed.
  14. Scott S made a motion to Approve the Prepay for Propane for $9,000.00 for the 25-26 Season, 2nd by Don B, Carried 6-0 (Remaining Prepay $1869.87 was added to prepay for the total of 7500 gal @ $1.44 per gal– $10,800-$1869.87 Check #9254 for the amount of $8,930.13
  15. Tabled-will remove from agenda until a later date-Capital Accts to a Financial Business with better rates and term.
  16. Long Term Capital Plan Updated as of 8/9/2025. AMB has $240,714.42.
  17. Updates on Capital Campaign for New Ambulance total of $240,714.42
  18. New Business-TOB-nothing, TOCL-nothing, TOD-Thank everyone for the hard work on the Community Appreciation Day, TOE-nothing, TOLL-Absent, TOW-Nothing, VOB-Nothing
  19. Don B made a motion to approve donations of-$2,816.00, TO FRIENDS ACCT- $66.00 Community Appreciation Day for the expenses, AMB Fund– $2,750.00 that were received since 7/11/2025 Meeting, 2nd by DeWayne R, Carried 6-0
  20. Rick O made a motion to approve Bookkeepers report as presented, 2nd by Don B, Carried 6-0
  21. Don B made a motion to approve Bills as presented for payment,

    TOLL-Absent, TOW-Impressed with the nice comments regarding the Community Appreciation Days from several people including the Lions Club, VOB-Came late was a fantastic response from the local community
