Birchwood Four Corners Emergency Services District will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 6:30 PM, at the BFCESD Building, 280 Edenharter Rd, Birchwood WI.

  3. Don B made a motion to approve Dec 11, 2025 Meeting Minutes as presented, 2nd by Terry O, Carried 6-0
  4. Public Input—Linda Z, mentioned the history of the BFCESD and question on item #11.
  5. Fire Department Report-See Attached Reports
  6. Ambulance Service Report-See Attached Reports
    1. Don B made a motion to approve New budget line item for Training Officer ($2k yearly salary, $1k from director pay and $1k from assistant director pay). 2nd by Scott S, Carried-6-0
  7. Friends of BFCESD Report-No meeting, Golf tournament is scheduled for May 17, 2026.
  8. Report from Bylaws Committee-Letter from Rice Lake Attorney stating they see nothing wrong with our current bylaws.
  9. Building Maintenance report- removed ice dam from above the laundry room, batteries for emergency lighting were rec’d.
  10. Discussion was made on the Wise property issues, Cindy F made a motion to wait on this process until the issues get resolved by the property owner/owners 2nd by Don B, Carried 6-0
  11. TABLED–Discuss Credit cards vs Debit Cards
  12. Updates on Capital Campaign for New Ambulance Amb Capital Acct & Amb Truck Campaign Acct total is $301,812.96

  14. Don B made a motion to approve donations that were received since the last meeting of $15,850.00 towards the New Amb Campaign Acct, 2nd by Scott S, Carried 6-0
  15. Scott S made a motion to approve Bookkeepers report as presented, 2nd by Don B, Carried 6-0
  16. Don B made a motion to approve Bills as presented for payment since the Nov 12 meeting, MAIN ACCT E-PAYS 464-479 MAIN ACCT CHECKS #9367-9383 Grant Acct E-pay 8-25 $500.00, Friends Acct E-pay 9-25 $15,000.00
  17. Review Correspondence—2026 MPIC Coverage Changes
    Email from Rice Lake Attorney regarding bylaws
    Village of Birchwood regarding sewer increase.
