Birchwood Four Corners Emergency Services District will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 6:30 PM, at the BFCESD Building, 280 Edenharter Rd, Birchwood WI.

  3. Don B made a motion to approve the Sept 11, 2025 Meeting Minutes, 2nd by DeWayne R, Carried 6-0
  4. Public Input-Linda Zillmer- Regarding Item #9 on voting on budget for each Fire & EMS & personnel by District members that aren’t covered by EMS.
  5. Two Rivers Accounting presentation the draft of 2024 Audit.
  6. Fire Department Report-See attached report
  7. Ambulance Service Report-See attached report
  8. Al D, Cindy F & Don B were selected for the Hiring Committee for the EMS Director & Fire Chief, time was set for Oct 16th @ 5:30 pm.
  9. Report from Bylaws Committee-Al talked to Lawyer’s Secretary and she mention that he is looking at it.
  10. Building Maintenance report-Jessie Miller will do snow removal for the same cost as last year.
  11. Updates on Capital Campaign for New Ambulance-only change was interest from acct.
  12. New Business-TOB-Nothing, TOCL-Bridge in Mikana may be closing for work hoping to close one lane at a time, TOD-Nothing, TOE-Nothing, TOLL-Absent, TOW-Nothing, VOB-Nothing
  13. No donations rec’d since the Sept 11, 2025 meeting.
  14. DeWayne R made a motion to approve the Bookkeepers report as presented, 2nd by Rick O, Carried 6-0
  15. Don B made a motion to approve Bills as presented for payment since the last meeting 9/11/25, Main Acct E-pay 432-441 CHECKS 9293-9313, EMS-CPR E-pay 6-25 2nd by DeWayne R, Carried 6-0
  16. Review Correspondence-None
  17. Commissioners Input- TOB-Nothing, TOCL-Nothing, TOD-Nothing, TOE-Town Board approved their budget, TOLL-Absent, TOW-Nothing, VOB-Concerns of the Rural EMS services that are going away, What are we going to do the keep our current EMS personnel and recruit new ones.
  18. Don B made a motion to adjourn @ 7:27 pm., 2nd by DeWayne R, Carried 6-0
