Birchwood Four Corners Emergency Services District will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 6:30 PM, at the BFCESD Building, 280 Edenharter Rd, Birchwood WI.

  3. Don B made a motion to approve the July 11, 2024 Meeting Minutes, 2nd by DeWayne R, Carried 7-0
  4. Public Input-Linda Zilmer-would like recording of James Small Rural Health to be put on the website. Suggestion for future National Night out events-Get sponsor for food. Suggested that mutual aid calls could possible charge Cty a fee.
  5. James Small-Rural Health-regarding EMS Funding issues and structure VIA Zoom.
  6. Fire Department Report—See attached report
    Scott S made a motion to approve the Fire Dept 2025 Budget as presented, 2nd by Bob M, Carried 7-0
  7. Ambulance Service Report—See Attached report
    Rick O made a motion to approve the Amb Dept 2025 Budget as presented, 2nd by Don B, Carried 5-0
  8. BFCESD Auxiliary Report—See Attached report
    DeWayne R made a motion to approve the BFCESD Friends 2025 Budget as presented, 2nd by Rick O, Carried 7-0
  9. Draft of Audit-Brandon was unable to be present will be at Sept Meeting.
  10. Building Maintenance report—
    Ken-Overhead doors issues would like to have them lubed and adjusted, will get cost of this service.
  11. Long Term Capital Plan Update-NO CHANGE
  12. Update on Capital Campaign for new Ambulance- going to start pushing advertising in School News, Facebook page and Website.

  14. Bob M made motion to Approve donations that were received since the July 11th meeting of $1,000.00 to Friends Acct from Mikana Parade & $68.00 at the National Night Out, 2nd by Don B, Carried 7-0
  15. Scott S made a motion to approve the Bookkeepers report as presented, 2nd by Don B, Carried 7-0
  16. Don B made a motion to approve Bills as presented for payment as follows:
    Main Acct Check #8908-8931 (8930 was voided) E-pay #300-306
    Grant/Friends/EMS Acct Check #1105-1107 E-pay 3-24 & 7-24
  17. Review Correspondence-Propane Prepay will pay the $9,000 that was budgeted for 2025.

    TOB-Rick Oswalt-Thanked everyone for the work that was done for the National Night Out.
    TOCL-Don Brunclik-Thanks to Sam for the work she did for the National Night Out
    TOD-Al Dirkes-Great to see people stepping up and helping with things. Mentioned that if he’s not doing things correct to please let him know.
    TOE-Scott Spaeth- Thanked everyone for the work that was done for the National Night Out.
    TOLL-Bob Moulette- Thanked everyone for the work that was done for the National Night Out.
    TOW-Cindy Fairchild- Amazed on the National Night out attendance.
    VOB-DeWayne Reiten— Thanked everyone for the work that was done for the National Night Out. It was Grandkid approved.
